A story about cricket. Of the days when cricket was played in the fields - the vast maidans - or, strictly as a compromise, in the streets or the corridors. Of the days when every square inch of ground on the maidan was fought for till death. Of those wonder years when boys remained boys a little longer, and all that was on their minds was cricket and mischief.
